Sutton Vane Associates lit a number of projects in the Millennium Dome - now the O2 Dome. The Living Island Zone was one of the main attractions of the Dome: the design had to cope with natural light coming through the tensile roof structure.

The Zone featured a light house made up of 60,000 backlit bulbs. Two restaurants were also lit, one of which was so successful that the lighting was removed and installed in a new permanent restaurant.
