Jubilee lighting for Stump Cross Caverns!
During the run up to Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, Stump Cross Caverns in Yorkshire asked the Sutton Vane Associates Team to create a special lighting scheme for one of their caves to celebrate the Jubilee.
Part of these magnificent caves have been washed in purple light in honour of the jubilee, with UV lights being used to pick out the fluorescent minerals in some of the rock formations, giving a regal sparkle to the caves, topped by a crown of light hand drawn by the SVA team. Special lights were designed specifically for this unique project and made by local manufacturer Universal Fibre Optics, with a projector supplied by Evica to add a finishing touch. The clients are thrilled with the results and over the coming weeks are expecting many visitors to see this unique display. Be sure to check the caverns out, they really are a must see!
