Sheffield
Sutton Vane Associates carried out a huge project in Sheffield to light many of the main areas, helping to enhance and celebrate the rich culture of the city. Central to the scheme was the ‘Gold Route’ which was pivotal to the lighting masterplan as it links the railway station to the centre of Sheffield. Warm LEDs were chosen to light water features along the route to impersonate and reflect the steelmaking heritage of the area, as well as illuminating sculptures and trees giving a unified scheme to the area. Further into the heart of Sheffield, SVA also lit The City Hall and Barkers Pool generating a friendly night time scene.
